Slides, flip-flops and one garden clog
The cheap end of the range and the part most people underrate. These are the shoes you spend four hours a day in, and going barefoot on tile instead is what makes heels hurt.
Everything in this group is moulded EVA foam: light, waterproof, and rinseable under a tap. The differences between the models are in the footbed and the closure, not the material.
The plain pillow slide has a flat bed and one wide band. The arch version uses the same 4.5 cm sole with a contoured footbed and a deeper heel cup, which is the one to pick if your feet complain in the morning. The double-buckle slide swaps the fixed band for two adjustable straps and a textured outsole. The flip-flop is a one-piece moulding with an arch up to 1.2 in and no thong plug to pull out. The clog is the only closed-toe shoe here, and the only one the maker says runs small.
Before you pick a colour
- Sizes are unisex ranges: the first number is the women's size, the second the men's.
- Contoured footbed if you have heel or arch pain; flat bed if you find an arch bump annoying.
- Keep all of it out of hot cars. EVA shrinks with heat and does not recover.
Pillow Slide
Thick EVA slide, unisex size ranges · 10 colours

Bright pink, the kind that reads as summer rather than pastel. Marks show less on it than on the white.

A deep purple that still works past August, which is more than most bright foam colours manage.

Rose red sits between the pink and a true red: warmer than one, softer than the other.

White foam looks new for about two weeks. Fine if these stay indoors, less so if they go out to a bin.

The pair to buy if you buy one. Black hides everything foam picks up off a floor.

Mid brown, warm rather than grey-toned, and forgiving about dust.

Darker than the brown, close to espresso in daylight.

Lilac, soft enough to pass as a neutral in a bathroom.

A clean mid blue and the most unisex of the brighter options.

Muted pink-beige. The quietest colour in the range.
Arch Support Slide
The pillow slide with an arch shaped into it · 3 colours

Blush over the contoured footbed, and the least conspicuous of the three.

Deep brown, dark enough that the moulded arch reads as a shadow rather than a line.

The only saturated colour offered on the arch footbed.
Cloud Double-Buckle Slide
Two adjustable straps over a thick foam sole · 4 colours

Warm brown throughout, buckles included. No contrast hardware.

Grey reads more house-slipper than pool sandal, which is the point for some people.

Black at ten dollars is the default here, and it stays looking new longest.

Sand beige, the lightest of the four, and the quickest to show a garden path.
Arch Support Flip-Flop
Contoured arch, one piece, 0.18 lb · 5 colours

Black hides beach dirt and goes with anything you would wear to a pool.

Grey, with the arch moulding showing up as a soft line down the footbed.

The brightest of the five, and easy to find in a pile of shoes by a pool gate.

Mid blue, worth a look if black feels too plain for a holiday.

Sand colour, which is the one that does not look wrong with sand on it.
