Jelly shoes for wet weather
Moulded PVC, waterproof by construction rather than by treatment, and washable under a tap. What leather would be ruined by, these do not notice.
Three shapes share one material. The closed-toe flat has a lattice upper and a wide opening, and it runs the deepest size range in the catalogue. The double-buckle sandal is open, with both straps adjustable, which suits a high instep or a foot that changes size through the day. The slide is the flat cut backless.
The detail that makes any of them wearable is the textured footbed. Smooth PVC plus a warm foot equals sliding forward on the first damp step, and every model here is textured to stop it.
Before you pick a colour
- PVC does not cushion the way foam does. These are for rain and boardwalks, not for distance.
- Clear versions show sand and dust more than any other colour.
- Keep them off a sunny windowsill. Prolonged UV yellows clear PVC and makes it brittle.
Hollow-Out Jelly Flat

Black hides the scuffing PVC always picks up across the toe.

Double-Buckle Jelly Sandal

Warm brown straps, translucent enough to catch light without being see-through.
Black PVC, and the version that does not announce itself as beach footwear.
Transparent right through, straps included. Water leaves nothing on it; sand does show.
Translucent pink, the most obviously summer of the four.
Jelly Slide
